In a friendly atmosphere, the literature classes, Thursday and Friday mornings at the Alliance Française the conversation classes and the theater workshops have been designed to complete a traditional learning route.

These workshops will allow you to ally intensive practical learning of expression and listening skills with a special focus on pronunciation.

The theater group from L’Alliance Française de La Haye.

The theater workshop of L’AVALANCHE, directed by Pascal Milard, is focused on entertainment! The workshop takes place every Saturday morning, it is composed by several exercises to create characters and start the exploration of the theatrical game that will lead to the creation or the adaptation of a show that will be presented in front of a public. The minimum required French level is B1.

During the literature classes, you will exchange on influential novels published recently in French, like biographies and fictions. Furthermore, you will discuss literature through the analysis of experts on crucial pieces of work such as Modiano, Kundera and Houellebecq. The minimum required French level is B2.

Conversation

Conversation

The conversation workshop is a complete learning path in order to focus on the speaking and listening skills. You will be able to develop your practice of speaking through debates, exchanges in French on themes that you can select with your tutor such as: news, society, culture, etc. You will be more at ease while speaking and gain in confidence in your exchanges with French-speaking persons. We have courses for the levels A2, B1 and B2/C1.

Every Thursday morning, we will gather to share our individual passions and our enthusiasm for French culture through discussions on French literature, news, music, cinema and the arts. The minimum required French level is B2.

Friday morning is the time to exchange on French literature and on the news of the week. In addition, we will also discover several aspects of French-speaking cultures and review grammar rules from time to time. The minimum required French level is B2.
