Sandrine Langlade, a painter at the crossroads between lyrical abstraction and abstract expressionism, honoured us with her warm presence at the \u2018\u2019Oiseaux Fugaces\u2018\u2019 vernissage held on 10 January 2025 at the Alliance fran\u00e7aise in The Hague.<\/p>\n

NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL RECOGNITION<\/h3>\n

Sandrine Langlade, an artist from Reunion Island, has exhibited her work in Europe, the United States and Latin America. After more than ten years of exhibitions in France and around the world, in 2018 she was awarded the Leonardo Da Vinci International Prize for Contemporary Art in Florence and the Titian Prize in Venice.<\/p>\n

COLOUR AT THE HEART OF HER WORK<\/h3>\n

Based in Toulouse, in the south of France, since the beginning of 2023, the light and colour depicted in her paintings, undoubtedly inspired by the location, transports us into a sensory experience and stimulates our imagination.<\/p>\n

Sandrine Langlade’s paintings not only bring people together, they also unite them around universal values. The human being is at the heart of her work. Her works touch the viewer through the power they exude.<\/p>\n
