Calligraphy workshop by Robin Delanssays, also known as K-L\u00c2M<\/div>\r\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]On the occasion of the Month of Francophonie<\/strong>, the Alliance Fran\u00e7aise of The Hague invites you to discover the art of French calligraphy<\/strong> through a series of creative workshops led by Robin Delanssays, also known as K-L\u00c2M<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n

An artist currently exhibiting in our premises and a former primary school teacher and educational coordinator in visual arts, he offers an accessible, playful, and artistic approach to calligraphy<\/strong>, where writing becomes a true form of creative expression.<\/p>\r\n

These workshops explore gesture, tools, and the artistic dimension of writing<\/strong>, while also discovering the richness of the French language in a creative and friendly environment.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

A creative introduction to calligraphy<\/h2>\r\n\r\n

Participants will experiment with different techniques and develop their creativity through several steps:<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Observation and discussion of calligraphic artworks to discover different artistic approaches to writing.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Using a variety of tools, participants trace foreign or invented signs to create a first calligraphic composition and explore the beauty of the gesture.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Choose your writing style (typography) and tool to calligraph a word, a name, or a short phrase in French.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Tear, cut, and reassemble your drafts and experiments to create an original and aesthetic composition.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
