On the anniversary of the Schuman Declaration<\/strong>, the Alliance Fran\u00e7aise in The Hague invites you to celebrate Europe Day<\/strong> on 9 May 2026<\/strong> during a free event open to all and dedicated to dialogue, reflection and creativity.<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udd4a\ufe0f 2:00 pm \u2013 3:30 pm : Panel discussion<\/h3>\n

\u00ab Europe, a project of peace \u00bb<\/h3>\n

This first part of the afternoon will bring together several speakers to explore the foundations and contemporary issues<\/strong> of European peace.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The discussions will address several key issues :<\/p>\n

    \n
  • The EU\u2019s normative framework<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • The place of culture<\/strong> in the European project<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • Common climate challenges<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • Current economic dynamics<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    An open discussion to better understand what makes and sometimes questions the European project today.<\/p>\n

    \ud83c\udfac 3:30 PM \u2013 5 PM: Creativity & Europ’Alliances contest !<\/h3>\n

    During the second part of this afternoon, you will be able to discover all the videos made as part of the Europ’Alliances<\/strong> contest !<\/p>\n

    A video contest in which several Alliances Fran\u00e7aises<\/strong> and Instituts Fran\u00e7ais<\/strong> from the F zone (Europe<\/strong>) will present their local vision of Europe and peace through original, inspiring and committed creations !<\/p>\n

    From May 7 to 9, 2026<\/strong>, you will even have the opportunity to participate in the vote via the social networks of the Alliance Fran\u00e7aise de La Haye.<\/p>\n

    \ud83c\udfc6 The winning video will then be unveiled at the end of the afternoon, during the closing ceremony of the event.<\/p>\n

    The day will end with a drink of friendship<\/strong>, a privileged moment to freely exchange between participants, speakers and audience.<\/p>\n
