theater classes for children
Throughout the year or semester, children will discover the world of theatre through fun, creative activities tailored to their age. Together, we will explore different behaviors, emotions, and feelings that can be expressed on stage using our two main tools: the voice and the body.
Participants will learn to develop their stage presence by working on breathing, articulation, voice projection, posture, movement in space, and physical expression. Through theatre games, improvisation exercises, and role-playing activities, children will gradually build confidence and become more comfortable expressing themselves in front of others.
The course will also focus on essential skills such as listening, concentration, imagination, cooperation, and respect for collective work. Children will learn to perform individually, in pairs, and in groups while discovering the joy of creating together.
Throughout the program, the exercises and skills acquired will be put into practice through the preparation of a theatrical performance. Students will take part in adapting and staging a play, working on characters, dialogue, emotions, and interactions between actors.
This artistic journey will culminate in an end-of-semester or end-of-year performance in front of family and friends. This special event will give children the opportunity to showcase their work, experience the excitement of performing on stage, and celebrate their progress in a supportive and encouraging environment.
