The DELF Junior

Is your child learning French in middle or high school? Give them the opportunity to have their progress officially recognized with a diploma that is internationally acknowledged: the DELF Junior.

What is the DELF Junior?

The DELF Junior is a version of the DELF (Diplôme d’Études en Langue Française) specifically designed for teenagers aged 12–17.

It assesses skills in listening comprehension, reading comprehension, written production, and spoken production through topics that reflect young people’s interests: social media, travel, sports, school, music… ✔ The diploma is identical to the adult version; only the themes differ. ✔ It is valid for life.

Where can you take the exam?

At the Alliance Française of The Hague, an accredited examination center.

We organize several sessions each year in conditions tailored to teenagers. We also offer preparation workshops to help candidates become familiar with the exam and feel confident on the big day.

Our sessions

Information Note Regarding Our DELF Exams

The exams take place in person at our center located at Emmapark 6. The times indicated refer only to the group tests. These are followed by individual tests, scheduled after the group tests according to a provisional timetable that will be sent with the official notification (approximately one week before the exams). The dates and times of the group tests are set by a national calendar and cannot be changed under any circumstances. For any special request, please contact: examens@aflahaye.nl
