French Language Proficiency Test (TCF)
Created by France Education International, the TCF is a French language proficiency test designed for all non-French-speaking individuals who wish to have their knowledge of French evaluated and validated in a reliable and recognized manner. All candidates receive a results certificate that places them at one of the six levels (from A1 to C2) on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) scale. Therefore, it is not possible to fail the TCF. The results certificate is valid for two years.
We regularly organize test sessions and can arrange one for you upon request within one week, during our opening hours (contact exams@aflahaye.nl).
The TCF is offered in several versions:
- TCF — General French proficiency test
- TCF Québec — For immigration to Québec
- TCF Canada — For immigration to Canada or naturalization
- TCF for Access to French Nationality — For obtaining French citizenship
