Bonjour à tous,

Fluency in French is becoming increasingly important in a contact-rich world. Whether for personal or professional reasons, taking a French test or obtaining a recognised French diploma has many advantages.

The most commonly used French tests are the Test de Connaissance du Français (TCF) and the Test d’Évaluation du Français (TEF). These tests assess oral and written comprehension and oral and written production. They are often used to demonstrate the level of proficiency in French in a professional or academic context, or to apply for admission to a French-speaking university or school.

French diplomas, on the other hand, are issued by the French Ministry of Education and are internationally recognised. The most commonly awarded diplomas are the Diplômes d’Études en Langue Française (DELF) and the Diplômes Approfondis de Langue Française (DALF). These diplomas attest to the ability to use the French language in various contexts, both orally and in writing.

Besides professional benefits, French language tests and diplomas can also offer personal benefits. They can boost self-confidence and develop the language skills needed to communicate effectively in French.

The Alliance Française de La Haye is a recognised examination centre for these certificates. The next examination sessions for the DELF PRIM and junior will take place on 31 and 24 May 2023, respectively, and from 5 to 9 June for the DELF DALF all publics. For the TCF and TEF, the examination sessions are as follows:[/vc_column_text]
